The Australasian Furnishing Research and Development Institute, or AFRDI, is a not-for-profit organisation that provides independent testing and certification for furniture in Australia and New Zealand.

AFRDI rated furniture is rigorously tested to Australian and New Zealand standards which cover ergonomics, strength, durability, stability and safety. The suppliers of the furniture also agree to maintain quality and submit their products for regular auditing.
