Schamburg + Alvisse design and manufacture Australian eco furniture chosen by some of the world's most trusted companies (Ethisphere, 2008) including Westpac and Unilever. Eco design has been core to our work for over 10 years and our eco performance have been given the stamp of approval by:

 

• Green Building Council Australia, which recognises our GECA certified furniture as "eco innovative".
• Good Environmental Choice Australia, which has certified 75% of our compact chairs.
• The Powerhouse Museum, which has awarded Schamburg + Alvisse the Award for Sustainable Design.

To build a healthier and brighter future for our families and communities, we make furniture using recycled plastics, low-formaldehyde glues and eco timbers. We recently became Australia's first furniture maker to be FSC certified, verifying that our FSC timber has been legally sourced from well-managed forests. Australian-made means more competitive prices and more jobs for Australians. It also means ultra low “furniture miles” and short lead times to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra.
